Everything but

For some reason today when I woke up, I had two things in mind. The first was getting a haircut. Even though I didn't get in bed until around 2:30, I was up at 8:30 hoping to get to the barber shop right when it opened. The other thing I was thinking about was a McSkillet Burrito from McDonald's. They sent me a coupon about a month ago for a free one, and today was the day I HAD to have it. I also sent Carl a text asking if he was available. He was, and it was determined that I would loan him my bike.

McDonald's was a nightmare. There were like 10 people in line and we all know that in this neighborhood, while everyone eats at McDonald's, one dare not be seen there. The judgement and the knowing looks never end. So, the longer the line, the greater likelihood of judgement.
5 Minutes later, I've got myself a McSkillet Burrito and a LARGE diet coke - I had to buy a large drink to get the burrito for free..I told that bitch to just charge me for a large and give me a medium b/c I didn't want that much soda. But, no, that's too hard.

The burrito wasn't as awful as Frank made it out to be. The shell was nice and soft, the sausage and eggs seemed like real produce - ish. The potato kinda threw me though. I could have done without that. Anyway, as McDonald's has refused to post the nutritional information on those, I have no idea what I was doing to myself.

I decided to RIDE my bike to Carl''s house, just in case. I met him at the Courthouse Cosi, where I had an Iced Tea and managed to resists their assortment of gross pre-packaged baked goods. We ran into a girl I know, Nina, who insisted on paying for my tea -- I pretended to refuse, that whole thing. Anyway, we all sat and discussed Ayn Rand for a while and then parted ways.

Back at Carl's I was confronted with a HOT Margarita pizza from Armand's and I almost lost it. I kept it together though.

While I was waiting for Carl (don't ask why I was waiting), I got a chance to play with the iPhone. It was pretty neat. Very sexy. Highly recommended.

Lunch was courtesy of El Charrito. The Salvadoran place. I went with the #2 - one papusa, and tow tacos and ANOTHER diet coke. It was really just a liiiiiitle too much, probs. I skipped most of the rice and the second taco shell. Every little bit helps, i reckoned.

Dinner was very enjoyable, with Todd. Went to busboys, where I'd never been in Daylight. Their hummus appetizer is delicious - but be sure to ask for extra bread ahead of time. It's always not balanced properly. I used a good ordering strategy tonight. I decided before leaving home that I was going to order a salad and then when I got there, I opened the menu, and picked within 30 seconds. No deliberating, no fretting. It was genius. I also had a terrible glass of red wine, recommended to me by the waitress. I started to cut her, but I let let it go.

Somehow during dinner, it was decided that we should get shakes from Ben's Chili Bowl,, already being so close. We got "small" ones and they were delicious, but a bit much.

Okay, here's the thing: the milkshake was the last straw. Desserts are slowly killing me. I am therefore declaring a week-long dessert moratorium, with the option to extend for two weeks. Like past moratoria, this is designed to break a habit, in this case, my habit of consuming small but significant quantities of refined carbohydrates between meals. If you read about so much as a Teddy Graham, I demand that you judge and leave bitchy comments. I do reserve the right to eat whole fruit, however, as I need "antioxidants," which I've decided is just code for "nutrient you've never heard of with vague and questionable efficacy, but food companies are allowed to market to you as something that MIGHT cure cancer" (see: lycopene).

Finally, one more jack and diet at the new restaurant on 17th (formerly cyberstop) where Todd and all Jay's friends met for big Chad's birthday and general tomfoolery. Tiramisu was definitely involved, but I forwent my bite in order to start the moratorium early.

On a somewhat happy note. I went to Gap today b/c that's what I do. A lot of summer sales are going around. First I went to Brook Brothers and while 3/$150 is a good price for shirts, i was so overwhelmed by the sea of blue and white stripes of every imaginable variety that I just left, flustered. That's how I wound up at Gap. There, it's much simpler. There are 4 items in the store that aren't crappy and 1 or two of them will be on sale. If it's a good enough sale, you try it on and you buy it. Today, I found four things that I liked: a pair of shorts, two pairs of dress pants and a dress shirt. Only when I got in the fitting room did i realize that they were all too big! I am TOTALLY Lohan, right now. fLog, what are you doing to me! :-)

Some more friday

Friday afternoon was a real drag. What started out as a fairly productive day ended up going to hell. I was still working on stupid press highlights when six thirty rolled around. Who works late on a FRIDAY? Anyway...
I got home by 7:30, and had myself a handful of blueberries, b/c I had dinner plans. Because my 8:30 dinner plans (shockingly) got pushed back to 9:00, I was forced to eat some dessert concoction Tracy made for us with fruity and creme and shit.

Dinner - For some reason, having only eaten one serving at Indian, I felt entitled to pasta. So, I had some linguine..yes, with creme and veggies. The only appetizing / affordable meat dish on the menu something called "Rigatini" and Neil was ordering that, so I didn't bother. My waist-line thanks me, I'm sure. The Peroni (Italian beer) I had with it wasn't half bad, though.

Rest of the night consisted of one vodka drink and a few Miller Lites. It would have been one miller Lite, but my friend came out and he's a drinker / pressurer. Anyway, it was good to have a noob on board. We saw some guy passed out completely on the side-walk outside stoney's when we came from not eating there --- that's right, we went in, sat down for like 4 minutes, talked and then walked out. We all know that ordinarily I would have gone for the chili w/ cornbread or something, but I didn't have the heart to write it down. And thank goodness - Saturday was a doozie.

Friday

I am HELLA sore today from the last few workouts. This new plan from Men's Fitness is kicking my arse. Hopefully in a good way, eventually. Mirror issues this morning, but largely forgotten. This fat shirt, though, is not doing it for me...

1st Breakfast - 1 South Beach breakfast wrap
Post workout - 2nd Breakfast - 1 scoop of chocolate flavored protein powder, 6 oz of water (it was really gross today b/c the water was lukewarm and I put too much). 1 Banana.
cup of coffee
handful of peanuts b/c I got bored
Lunch - Indian Buffet. Tori was in charge of making sure I only got one plate. She did an excellent job. I don't think the plate was THAT much more than my typical first. It was really about a serving of all the stuff I like, heavy on the chicken, for good quality protein. Small victories...

Thursday

Breakfast - Oatmeal, with raisins and peanut butter - just like I like.
Diet Coke to keep myself awake during team meeting.
Lunch - leftover squash / zucchini casserole. That stuff is finally gone. Also leftover sprouts.
Eileen's Party - 2 tablespoons of guac, 3 chocolate covered strawberries, 1 0z (approx) cheddar cheese, 1 mystery cookie, 1 serving of red wine
Dinner - Two tall Red Hooks and half a chicken quesedilla (shared with Mikey, of course)
Gluttony - slice of strawberry cake - i swear I'm throwing that shit away.

Stomachache

I woke up with a TERRIBLE stomachache yesterday. Hadn't had one that bad in a while. Not being able to sleep, I figured I'd just head to the gym.
Breakfast - Blueberries
Second Breakfast - Turkey bacon, Egg-White, Cheddar sandwhich from Starbucks, Grande Skim Latte
(Remainder of Teddy Grahams)
Lunch - Kashi Lemongrass Chicken Frozen Meal
Diet Coke, Mini Bag of REGULAR popcorn, that I bought by accident.
Disaster that was Happy Hour/ Dinner - Okay, so..we decide to split some appetizers...Chips with dip..and then hummus with pita and veggies..I can't account for how much of them I ate, but it was my fair share. Lesley and I split a burger with cheddar and Tater Tots. I think I ate like.....50 tater tots? It was bad. Also 2 1/2 beers.
I thought about that strawberry cake again last night..but I just couldn't go there..

On the joys and troubles of celebrity

So today my profile was up on the portal at work. I had a feeling this might be a thing, but whoa! Man I got a lot of feed. I even got a nice email from a girl saying she was cute and asking if I was single. While I still clearly plan to file a sexual harassment suit, I might see what she's up to on Friday :-) To be fair, it was a good picture. I'd holla at me. On the food tip.

1st Breakfast: SWB with blueberries / Sausage (2)
Gym: Awesome abs / cardio day. I did abs first, so i wouldn't skimp on the end. Then bike and stairs just to mix is up.
2nd Breakfast: Here's where the disaster begins. On the bus on the way to work, a stupid bug got into my shirt (i've been bitten like 5 times today). Anywho, so I instinctive swat at the bug, not realizing that it was going to gush blood on my (pale yellow!) shirt. So, long story short, I have to go to Safeway between gym and work to get a Tide to Go (thanks Kelly). While at safeway I decide that i might as well buy some snacks, but since I had no time to pick out produce, I picked shitty snacks. Dry-roasted peanuts (which turned out to be unsalted!), Popcorn (which turned to be garbage (that is regular and not lite) and finally, for more carbs...Teddy Grahams..
So, second breakfast was about 2 million teddy grahams and a shit load of peanuts.
Lunch was at Mandalay, the Burmese joint. Mike T wanted to go there and it had been a while. It was pretty good, but so GD expensive. I mean really...what I had was a kinda poor imitation of Chinese chicken with vegetables, but somehow the Myanmartian version (that's right..) cost like 2x as much. Anyway, I ate the whole entree, chicken veggies, about 1/4/-1/3 of my allotted rice bowl and two tiny Samosas (Myanmartian Samosas).
Afternoon - more disaster with Teddy grahams. There may or may not have also been a peanut or two involved. Finally, Eileen stops by our title Committee meeting with a box of Dean and Deluca Black & White cookies, which I, in the spirit of racial reconciliation, had to eat one of.
Afternoon coffee - 1 mini moo and some equal.

Dinner was at home...not gonna lie I think I ate like 5 maybe 6 multigrain tostitos while my Brussell Sprouts were cooking in the microwave. I had half a bag of those (b/c I like to try to make up for not eating vegetables by eating too many later?), a couple of small slices of the girlled pork Tracy's mom sent and i'd say a serving and a half? of Sunday's squash/zuccini casserole.
The evening I decided to stroll around the wider DuPont area, seeing who I might see. Thought maybe I'd meet some new people / person. No luck. But I did pick up a new book. So, that should distract me from thinking about my life plans for another week or so.
Good job, Cec.

A day less ordinary

Fitting that as I sit down to flog today, I am watching Big Medicine.
This morning was a doozie. First breakfast wasn't bad. Usual SWB and sausage. I planned on working out, but I forgot my workout clothes TWICE! (I went BACK home to get that shit and forgot it again). The rest of my naked juice protein drink was good for elevensies.
Lunch was of course at Leb Tav. I had the Damita Jo, with double salad. There was a mini-crisis with the diet coke being out, but the manager was able to rectify the situation before it got out of hand.
Obligatory afternoon snack was a bag of that delicious quaker snack mix and a cup of coffee.
Dinner was where the disaster started.
2 Shiners
5 Grilled Wings
Chips and Salsa
and...
Apple Pie!
I estimate today at 4,000 calories. Combined with working out that's going to be GREAT. Please somebody judge me.

TGIF

Okay I didn't get ANYTHING done today. Jesus H.
First of all, the bus left me. The S2 that should have come at 8:30, decided that 8:27 was just as good. You can't do that! I don't get why that's a hard concept!
Anyway, the reason I was trying to get on the 8:30 bus was that, having "gone out" last night, I decided it was too late to try to work out this morning and that I'd better get some sleep instead. So, a slow get-ready and a decent bowl of name-brand oatmeal (oatmeal, skim milk, raisins, peanut butter, splenda) later, I dashed down to 16th street so I could get left by the bus.

Because of my honorable intentions to go tot he gym, I decided I'd better have some carbs for elevensies. Then, Mike called just before lunch. Because I miss that guy and I really need to get our lunches goin again I dropped what I was doing and went. We ended up at Baja Fresh, b/c they have a bunch of outdoor seating. I had the side-by-side (chicken, salad, avocado AND guac). For some reason, I was only able to finish about 2/3 of the meal, although I did decide to force feed myself the chicken. Why throw away protein?

Three hours later, i was wishing I'd finished that thing. I decided to drink some water which "fooled me" for an hour or so. Then i had one of those cheese-cracker and peanut butter things. LOVE THOSE. They were good energy for my awesome workout.

I did, seriously, every muscle in my upper body. Want to get a bike ride in tomorrow and I didn't want my legs to be tired.

I made sure to grab some good post-workout protein, this time in the form of a Naked Juice. I had half, on account of the sugar content (lotta fruit juice..all natural at least).

At home, I made myself some dinner. I used half of my sweet little onions, frying it up with a couple of sausage links. When that had browned, I dumped in some egg (1 whole, 1 white, a splash of milk). I let that settle into what i'm spinning as a fritata. Topped it with a little cheese and then dumped the whole thing onto a steamed whole-wheat tortilla. Then I put a little roasted tomato salsa on and enjoyed it with a Blue Moon "Honey Moon Summer Ale." Delicioso.
1st Breakfast - South Beach breakfast wrap
Second Breakfast - banana and serving of edamame (yes for breakfast)
Elevensies - 1 bag of baked cheetos (the 130 calorie bag)
Lunch - I had the pleasure of lunch at Austin Grill with a friend. By the grace of god, I resisted the chips. NOT EVEN ONE. I even resisted when he said "we should get milkshakes." Very proud of myself.
I am less proud of the delicious klondike bar that Robert brought back from a meeting - honestly, ice cream? That's like going out of your way to encourage obesity.
Todd Suggested Settte for dinner - which of course meant I had pizza AGAIN. God...someone judge me. Please note that "pizza" also means half order of calamari and Stella. To be joined by two Coors lites, later in the evening.

Traveling back from detroit

So get this shit...
I had to get up at 4:45 to catch a freaking plane. So of course, I had coffee (and a 100 calorie pack of nilla wafers) before leaving the hotel. Then i stand in line at the airport for an hour to get my boarding pass, b/c US Air is retarded. Then when I go to the counter, the chick is all, "oh, that's cancelled." So she rebooked me with another airline, which was naturally in a different terminal. So, shuttle to the other (much nicer) terminal of the Detroit airport. I got through NWA's ticketing and security literally in 5 minutes. So then I took the little tram over to the correct gate to wait and try to get on standby. Having over an hour and a half before the flight gave me little time to do work, but more than enough time to consume a ham/egg/cheese sandwich and half a serving of hash browns (and a small coffee, natch). Plane, two hours later (if that) called for a diet Pepsi and a 1oz pack of peanuts that I had on me.
Lunch was typically disastrous, as we figured out that Jerry's has a small pizza / regular drink for $4.99 combo, which I of course ate. Thankfully, "small" really means "small" at Jerry's, so that really could have been worse.
And a good thing, since yesterday was Debbie's going away party, which, naturally, meant cake and ice cream. These two guilted me into taking the the rest of the afternoon off from eating. I did sneak in a bottle of water, even though I wasn't feeling it, b/c I don't think I'd been drinking enough water while traveling.
Dinner w/ Matt/ Anne-Lamar was pleasant and tasty. One glass of red wine, 2 shrimp "cargot", and the seared tuna entree with greenbeens instead of mashed potatoes and glazed carrots.
I hate traveling. It has too many carbs for me.

Small Mercies

Traveling day with focus groups...hearty, but not terrible...
B'fast - 1 1/4 cup SWB and 1 cup of skim milk..three sausage links..determined not to eat junk on the plane.
Airport - One cup of coffee with milk (alas there was only whole milk...i kept it minimal)
Plane - one cup of watered down OJ - haven't had it in months..couldn't resist
Lunch at Hotel - Chicken, Green beans, mixed berries, baked talapia (just in case I didn't have enough protein)
Afternoon Snack - Baked cheetos, cup o coffee
Dinner (Dear Jesus) - Ribs, grilled mixed veggies, potatoes, bread sticks and Sprite Zero. (That's right, potatoes AND bread...Dr. Atkins would not approve.)
There also may or may not be cake later...well try it again tomorrow..

A case of the mondays

Determined to be back on track, I got my arse up and went to the gym this morning. Pre-gym breakfast was 1 1/4 cup of Shredded Wheat & Bran (SWB) and a cup of skim milk. Also, had tow links of turkey breakfast sausage, for good measure.
Fairly average workout. Couldn't get my heart rate up on the elliptical. Abs workout was decent, but short.
32 bottle of water this morning. looks like I'll finish it, thank god. Also had the rest of that pint of blueberries and a cup of coffee (free!). Since lunch with AJ is at 1, instead of my usual noon, i decided I'd better have elevensies (third breakfast). I went with one very mealy apple that I had in my drawer, and a cup of skim milk. Well see if i make it another hour and a half...

Sunday Dinner

Going to gallery place to see Silver Surfer was a conveninet excuse to eat at California Tortilla. A small blackened chicken ceasar was good, along w/ a diet coke. There also may or may not have been chips and guac involved. Silver Surfer was surprisngly good! Trivia: The guy who played the silver surfer also played the faun in El Laberinto del Fuano.

Sunday Funday

Burger, fries and two beers for lunch. Goin for it. This one is a magic hat, which replaces dessert in my mind. (It's apricot flavored:-))

Lazy Sunday

Today started, as any other, with a bowl of kashi. This was the last serving and I'm gonna lay off it for a while. (See my earlier remarks on soy). I also tried adding a spoonful of protein powder (berry flavor) to it, just to see what it would be like. I tasted nothing, and presumably got 5-6 extra grams of whey protein, so..not too bad.

I decided to beat the Sunday rush at the soviet Safeway and go early to get my essentials for the week. I went w/ Shredded Wheat and Bran as my cereal this time, b/c its got a decent balance of nutrition and no soy! Also picked up some turkey breakfast sausage this week, b/c, not having had it for last couple of weeks, I've very much missed it. I bought no produce at Safeway, opting instead to

Go to the farmer's market a Dupont Circle. Sticking by (for now) my decision to eat local when possible, I decided I'd get my fruits and veggies at least from local-ish farms. As it turns out, no one around here grows blueberries, the strawberries from this region are terrible (looking) and I don't really like cherries. So, I'll either just go back to wholefoods for fruit, or skip it this week. I did pick up some squash and zucchini, as well as some onions. that should make a nice stir-fry one night this week. Also got a back of mixed spinach and chard, which I made into

a mini salad, which consisted of a bowl of fresh mixed greens and a half serving ken's steak house blue cheese. Delicious. Brunch is at Wonderland today and I don't think I'll be gettin any veggies there! We shall see.

DC United soccer game

Several hours after lunch i am having a snack at the game. While soccer is more exciting than i imagined,i still thought about killing myself like eight times during the first half. Forty five minutes! Desperately in need of carbs, I decided to have a regular beer, the name of which escapes me. I also opted for some super expensive peanuts which were the best I've ever had. I had two servings. Carl is holding the bag so i will stop eating them. Don't wanna ruin dinner:-)

A super gay salad at the W.

Try again...

Today i decided to go for it. I had a bowl kashi, with berries and a cup of milk. for breakfast. Then I decided to go do some work at the coffee shop next door. The medium coffee with skim milk was quite nice. There was a little two year old girl there, amazingly smart, who kept saying all these things to her dad. I chuckled...thought about adopting her. The "baby" part is already over.
Workout (today I did "pushing" muscles). I twas pretty good, but I might have over done the leg stuff...we'll see how the knee holds up. I finished that off w/ a nice berry flavored protein shake.

Brunch was (of course!) at Logan tavern. It took us way too long to get our food, and of course we had to wait for fucking Cliff. Anyway, I decided to try something new today. Well, 2 things. First, instead of looking over the whole menu, I decided what kind of food i was going to eat before I got there...today, it was a salad. then, I picked the salad within 10 seconds of opening the menu and did not reconsider. It was a very small, but tasty salad - seared tuna, with baby arugula and a spicy slaw. Add a piece and a half of logan's bread and about 10 diet cokes and it was a nice little meal.

Since then I've been looking all around my house for something else to eat b/c I'm of course still hungry. I did succumb at one point and get a spoon full of peanut butter because that's all I have. Going to a soccer game, so this could get bad. Will report back, as soon as possible.

Friday

Since I brilliantly missed by flight and had to dash through the airport, I had to settle for starbucks Grande Americano (splenda and skim milk) for breakfast. Until, I got on the plane...then, all of a sudden, i remembered the "too sugary" oatmeal to go bar I had picked up the day before, and I obviously at that while waiting for take-off.
Snack: Obligatory mini-bag of peanuts.

Back at work: One banana, and a handful of blueberries.
Lunch: Chipotle. A burrito bol, with mixed beans, and carnitas. No rice. Pico, half serving of corn salsa, sprinkles of cheese and lettuce. Tiny drop of sour cream. Two cups of diet coke.
Afternoon - more blueberries..half a (small) bag of some sour cream and onion chips.
Dinner - ate at matsuba for the first time in while. had the tempura/chicken teriyaki combo - no skin. At it all, no rice.

The rest of Thursday

Plane ride...nothing...I took an oatmeal to go bar, but then decided it was too sugary and would skip.

Lunch - very gay salad at the W (picture forthcoming). Chicken, field greens, cucumbers, carrots, etc...very healthy.

I can't talk about anything after lunch. It was a focus group and it was ugly. :-(

Breakfast. Two cups coffee with equal and cream. One sausage double egg and cheese bagel. So the travel food nightmare begins. Help.need..fiber..

Lunch Uneggspected

Eggspectations for lunch. Thought about Austin Grill, but it's really just not worth it when I have to pay for it. Ended up at Eggspectations, the most/least cleverly named restaurant in Silver Spring. We sat outside that I make a remark to the effect of, "man I love summer..everyone's so tan and over-18 looking." Yes, I know.

1 Mini Quiche (Mini compared to a full sized pie...i don't delude myself that there were fewer than 7 or 8 hundred calories in it.)
1 Side Salad with virtually no balsamic vinaigrette dressing
2 glasses of Diet Coke

Snacks
1.5 handsful of blueberries (from Florida..whole foods local fruit selection is very poor)
(later)
1 can of diet coke
(later still)
1 banana (wolfed down, as that quiche is long gone!)

Breakfast

First breakfast had to be eaten at breakneck speed...had to catch the bus...which I ended up missing anyway...again I say, THE BUS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO COME EARLY! that's not how the fucking systems works...but b/c it DID come early, I got to sit at the bus stop and wait for the NEXT bus, which, of course, was late...and then took a wrong turn...

1 Cup of Kashi Cereal
4 Medium Strawberries (California-grown..workin on some local ones)
1 Cup of Milk
No Splenda...trying not to have artificial sweetener in everything I eat.

Had a good workout. Today was pulling muscles. yes, technically all muscles pull, but I mean muscles that I use to pull things as opposed to pushing things. I do the push/ pull split every few weeks just to mix things up. It feels great to be doing the heavy weights again. That light weight pseudo-cardio shit was killing me.

Post workout second breakfast was..
1 Banana
1 scoop of barely dissolved chocolate protein power in 6 oz of skim milk
2 more oz of skim milk just to make it a cup and to get the dregs of the undissolved protein powder.

Highly Focused Dinner

Once again we had to work until the god awful hour of 9:00, listening to focus groups. At least the group on new media was somewhat interesting, although I'm disturbed that there are so many people in their mid-late thirties who openly admit to being on MySpace. Anywho...being the concerned team member I am, I decided to order food for my peops. As pizza is the only shareable food in the world, apparently, we decided, after 40 minutes of discussion to go with pizza. So, I ordered two large pizzas for 6-8 people. On Robert's suggestion we decided to "pad it out," by ordering breadsticks and wings as well. Mistake. Long story short - two focus groups later, I'd managed to ingest:

THREE slices of pizza hut extra pepperoni pizza (hand tossed...and this "new recipe" doesn't taste any different, Pizza Hut..I'm going to need to see the results of this "blind taste test" where you beat PJ's and Domino's)
1 Bread stick with Sauce
2 Buffalo Wings with minimal ranch dressing
1 Diet Coke
1 Chocolate chip cookie from whole foods, which was delicious.
I'm estimating about 2000 calories for the meal. Nicely done!

PS - never taking eating advice from Robert again.

South for Lunch

Baja fresh today...once again i went w/ the side by side. While I've grown bored of it, it's by far the best value/taste/nutrition combination and I shall continue ordering it. I mean, 60 grams of protein in a 500 calorie meal...(12 carbs for those counting). I am still amazed though they opt for both guacamole AND avocado slices in that one dish...i decided just to go w/ the avocado today..i skipped the guac since I wasn't having any chips..all in all not bad. I shall have plenty of room/calories left for 'za tonight, if the boss lets us order...Also a very bitchy coworker of mine walked by and pretended not to see me..bitchy, bitchy gays...

defeat

one handful of kashi cereal that i ate w/o realizing it, b/c it was on my desk from when i had breakfast at work. My belief in the need for a food journal is reaffirmed...

Also..lunch was postponed..seemed like a great time for some baked cheetos...they were only 80 cents so , how bad can they be for me, right? :-)

Breakfast

1 teaspoon peanut butter...all i had time to grab before I left home...I was trying to download Itunes Plus...so I can listen to Corin Baily Rae in hi-def, or whatever...nearly missed the bus!

1 Cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch! (Honey Almond Flax) - Again w/ the soy, right...
1 Cup of Skim Milk

Monday, June 11, 2007

Six wings from austin grill. Three miller lites. Fifteen chips with salsa.

Snack

One serving of edamame...okay, so it turns out i'm going to have to lay off the soy..I knew there was some sort of estrogen situation going on with Soy, but it may be worse than I feared...good thing I'm taking those Testosterone injections.

Where is a boy to get his protein these days? I literally can't eat enough meat..who has the time or money?
1 Altoids mini-mint in a ridiculous container...they deliberately make it hard open, just so you look cool if you know how...

Lunch

Lunch at Lebanese Taverna. Half off, Baby! Djaj M' Sahab Sandwhich (Grilled Chicken, Garlic Puree, Cheese, lettuce, tomato), one side of Jurusalem salad, two glasses of diet coke...and a brownie sample (approx 1 cubic inch) from Cake Love...

The sandwhich was great as always. I hadn't had it for months, as the cheese makes it kinda greasy. The brownie from Cake Love might be the only thing from there KIND OF worth the money. At $3.50 for a regular sized brownie though, it's not bargain. I'll stick to the freebies...on the way back from lunch, I was tempted by someone selling ice cream treats....ice cream also looked tasty :-)

Perm fade.

As much as i want this to be a cute look..Pride brings out the worst in us.

Breakfast

Breakast 1 - One Southbeach Breakfast Wrap
Breakfast 2 - One cup of Kashi GoLean Crunch! Cereal, One Cup of Milk
Coffee Break - One Cup of coffee, one packet of half/half, one Splenda Vanilla Packet
